http://www.theaimlesscook.com • • We're making sushi at home and I'm gonna show you how easy it can be! Today, we will be making some negitoro maki. Often, we ate negitoro at the restaurant as makanai (staff meal). The tuna comes from the leftover trim from when the sushi bar finished getting the good cuts for nigiri and sashimi. We would scrape the remaining meat from the connective tissue and mince it with green onion. • • It's delicious on top of a bowl of sushi rice or in a roll like we're doing today.
