Teaching Counting On Fingers

Janet Houk | Minneha Elementary | Wichita, KS • In this activity, the teacher and students practice counting in sequence by using the ten fingers on their two hands. As the teacher puts up each finger the children count from 1 to 10. They can then partner with a friend to count their fingers.
