This is one of the most infamous murder cases in history and the case is still unsolved to this day. There's a theory that the two houses are connected in some way, since they share the same street address. If that's not intriguing enough, there's also rumors of a portal inside the Villisca House that allows spirits to travel to and from both the Villisca and the Sallie House. To top it all off, the previous owner of the Sallie House, Tony Pickman (whom experienced very aggressive poltergeist activity), visited the Villisca for a tour back in the day. He said he believes whatever is haunting the Villisca is the same spirit that haunted the Sallie House while he was living there.
