Welcome back adventurers! Today's hike takes us to Dolly Sods Wilderness area of Monongahela National Forest in the eastern part of West Virginia. I've been wanting to check out Dolly Sods for many many years but every time I had the opportunity to go, the weather was beyond horrible. This time, almost perfect! We decided to only do an out and back consisting of three trails: Bear Rocks, Raven Ridge and Rocky Ridge. Now, we never made it to Rocky Ridge because shortly after hitting Raven Ridge, I found a BEAUTIFUL spot to camp out. So we called that our stopping point. We set up camp with our hammocks, started a small fire in the already built fire pit that I built a little higher and tighter to fit my cast iron skillet I brought with me, and just had a little lunch and then relaxed and enjoyed the area. It was genuinely an amazing day! I'm super excited to return for a longer hike. Hopefully, a multiday trip! The wait was definitely worth it. I absolutely LOVE Dolly Sods! • I hope you enjoyed the video! If you did, please make sure slap that like button, subscribe if you haven't and share it!
