Intro to the Char-Griller Grand smoker. This is a great budget smoker on par with the OKJ (Char-Griller owns OKJ). $499 is what I paid for this. Tons of options. It is very comparable to the OKJ Highlander. Some improvements are the 4 inch exhaust stack, removable ash “tray” 2 cooking grates, removable drip tray and the front folding shelf. • I have done a few smokes on it now, some briskets and pork butts as well as a 7lb Prime Rib. It is really easy to maintain about 250.
