Kolp, pastor. • Frederic Edward Weatherly, KC (1848 – 1929) was an English attorney, author, lyricist and broadcaster. He was made a Counsel of King George V, a senior attorney, in 1926. He is estimated to have written the lyrics to at least 3,000 popular songs. He composed the lyrics to, The Holy City, in 1892. • Michael Maybrick (1841 – 1913) went under a pseudonym, Stephen Adams. Having become proficient on the piano age eight, the young Maybrick studied the organ with W. T. Best and at age 15 became organist of St Peter's Church in Liverpool, England. He also wrote anthems and had a work performed in London by this time.
