http://www.doittennis.com/tennis-blog • Now, slice backhand very similar to the one-handed backhand in respect, the only difference really now is instead of me coming from below the ball and coming up I'm going to start a little bit higher than the ball and finish going through. • -I'm going to finish the stroke at front, my left hand is going to extend if that's the case we'll see how it works. • -I'm going to give myself space and see how it all works out right. So here I'm again I'm going to be on my toes, okay I'm all ready to go so I'm going to be ready, looking for the ball, my hand now is more on top in a continental grip. • -I'm going to make sure I turn my shoulders as soon as I spot where the ball is going to be coming from and then I'm going to rotate my racquet back into the ball. • -So I'm going to keep the racquet face more constant as I strike the ball right so I'm not going to turn the racquet in the hand. I'm going to hold it steady and extend the racquet. • -So I want to make sure I turn my right shoulder and then extend through. Again, I'm really going to be conscious of keeping the space between me and the ball so if I've enough space I'm able to extend and still play a comfortable shot.
