INGREDIENTS • Ham squares: • 1 sheet puff pastry • slices of cheese • slices of ham • sesame seeds • Tomato squares:  • 1 sheet puff pastry • tomato sauce grated cheese • salt • olive oil • oregano • poppy seeds •   • METHOD • • For the ham squares: Place several slices of cheese and ham on one half of the puff pastry. Fold and place on an oven tray. • For the tomato squares: Mix tomato sauce with olive oil and add some salt. Spread the sauce over one-half of the puff pastry. Sprinkle over grated cheese and oregano. • Fold the puff pastry and place it on the oven tray. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. • Mix egg with olive oil and brush over the two puff pastry sheets. Add sesame to one half and poppy seeds to the other. • Cut into small squares. • Bake for 25 minutes at 180°C (356°F).
