Detectives seek information on murder at Edwardstown

Detectives are appealing for the drivers of three vehicles captured in CCTV to come forward as they continue to investigate the death of a man at Edwardstown last night. • Police and paramedics attended Dunorlan Road just before 9.30pm on Sunday 11 December after a man with a gunshot wound was found lying on the roadway. • The 41-year-old man was rushed to the Flinders Medical Centre in a critical condition but was pronounced deceased a short time later. • Police are treating the man’s death as a murder. • Detectives from Major Crime Investigation Branch and Southern District CIB, along with Forensic Response officers attended and examined the scene. • Detectives have now released CCTV which captured three vehicles driving east on Dunorlan Road towards South Road around the time of the incident. The first two vehicles appear to be small white hatch backs or sedans and the third a white SUV. • Investigators are seeking to identify those vehicles and their drivers as they believe they may have important information that could assist the investigation. • Those drivers potentially saw the victim, a man riding a pushbike and possibly a third person in the street. • Anyone who was in Dunorlan Road between 8.30pm and 9.30pm last night, or has dashcam footage from the area is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 3330 000 or online at https://crimestopperssa.com.au/
