Most hemodynamic monitoring equipment have similar components and it is the nurse’s responsibility to understand and set this equipment up properly in order to obtain accurate hemodynamic measurements. • . • Hemodynamic monitoring systems include: • ✅ Transducer: The transducer takes pressure readings from the patient and displays them on the bedside monitor as numbers and waveforms for the nurse to interpret.
