Hopefully it's just a phase in its adolescent maturity, and we can all look forward to a little bit more common sense from it in the future. • Two failures and a success today as I try to use the age-old pulley system to spice up what would ordinarily be a normal and benign shot the the testicles. As I say in the video, don't expect me to be accurate in my definition or explanation; though did sometimes go to school, I don't think I paid attention any...if I did, it was by accident. • I suppose my first mistake was using twine that's older than my mother's dead cat. However, it has been totally sturdy in the past, so my trust was not totally misplaced. We moved a mattress across town with it. See? Continuing along the line of mistakes, we come to cutting the rope too long. As my first attempt illustrates, my measurements (or lack of any) weren't exact. This lead to the outcome illustrated. I've never been sack-tapped by glass before, but it's not unpleasant. Second try didn't go much better than the first one, although a more eventful blunder, still not GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME. • The reason why I scrapped the idea has to do with how difficult it is to properly tie a cinder block to hanging rods of light tube when lifting it too high means the lights come crashing to Earth. I learned this the hard way (off camera) with my first pair of lights, because the moment I picked the block up, they fell off the ladder and exploded beside me. Incidentally, not far from my face. Naturally I didn't treat this as the bad omen that it probably was. • Anyway, I'm looking at a pretty long upload counter this week, so it'll probably be after dinner before you people can see and/or read all of this jargen.
