A playthrough of Hal's 1990 puzzle game for the NES, Adventures of Lolo 2. • This video shows the full game including the hidden pro puzzles, only accessible by password. You can find those at 44:27. • Though Adventures of Lolo 2 is the second Lolo game for the NES, it was actually the sixth game in Hal's Eggerland series, with most earlier installments appearing on the MSX computer and the Famicom Disk System. • This game is based on the game known in Japan as Adventures of Lolo. The first NES game was a made up of a selection of puzzles from earlier games and was published solely in western markets, hence the mismatch. • You can find my playthrough of that one here: • Adventures of Lolo (NES) Playthrough ... • Adventures of Lolo 2 doesn't differ much from the original game: the updated sprites look much better and the final boss battle (though easy) provides a more satisfying end, but the same theme song plays on an endless loop in the background, the puzzles (though still excellent) are more of the same, and Don Medusa is still a king jerk that I'd like to brutally murder in a dark alley. • I really hate that guy. • But despite the similarities, I enjoyed this sequel as much as I did the first game. The puzzles are much more demanding, so if you liked Adventures of Lolo for its challenge, you'll have fun with this one too.
