Doing a marathon is extremely difficult... what's even more difficult is adding 60 pounds onto your back and that's exactly what I did for this challenge. • I have a marathon coming up that loses 5k feet elevation throughout the course and what better way to train than having 60 added pounds while hammering out a marathon? I'm sure there are at least 30 better ways, but this seemed more fun to me haha. • One thing I'd recommend is vaseline... never underestimate how much rubbing is going on with something like this. My ass was raw after and wasn't fun to deal with, but luckily I was ready to go the next morning as my wife and did the Lake Blanche hike (6 miles roundtrip with 2.5K feet elevation gain). Can't pass up on a good hike. • Give this challenge a try and let me know how it goes! Seemed like I was wasn't going very quickly so I'm sure someone could beat my time if they tried, but finishing is the biggest issue.
