How To Dye a Synthetic Wig Method for Lace Fronts

I'm back finally with a new video! This is one I've had in the works for a while but recent holidays and sickness have got in the way! Though many have said it can't be done, colouring synthetic hair is indeed possible with products like ink and fabric dye. There's plenty of tutorials out there of people dipping their wigs in fabric dye, but I wanted to come up with a method for dying my lace front wigs without staining the lace! • In this video we're using the Rit DyeMore liquid dye for synthetics. I used pink and purple but you should experiment with your own colours, as long as you're starting off with very light hair! • Pros: • Colour is permanent and you can wash and steam it and restyle it • Dye is cheap and accessible, so is a platinum blonde wig! • Exact control over the outcome • Cons: • Can stain your clothes, carpet, and towels if you're not careful • Fairly limited to pastel shades only • Can't dye all the way to the root • For some ambitions, you might just be better off purchasing an already coloured synthetic wig, or custom colouring human hair, but this project is a really cheap alternative!
