China Space program launched Chang'E-5, China's first lunar sample-return mission, on November 23, 2020 as the Chinese Lunar Exploration Program's fifth lunar exploration mission. It arrived on the moon on December 1, 2020, near Mons Rümker, a massive volcanic complex in the Northern Oceanus Procellarum.
