And viable on a couple other weapons too. We go from a Primer to a Killer, Truthfully, I wish the new arcanes were this impactful on other weapons, rather than being an exception to the rule with few weapon options making sense. Kompressa is definitely the poster child, massively buffing it's damage by over 10x on this new build. • Cascadia Empowered, a new arcane coming with Angels of the Zariman. An always-on weapon arcane that does not require stacks like normal weapon arcanes, any status proc you inflict will cause the arcane to deal 750 damage matching the same elemental type of the proc. This damage is affected by armor, shield and health modifiers, but does not scale with crits, base damage or actual elemental % and damage numbers. There are few ways to buff this damage directly, being banes and Laetum's Devouring Attrition 20x buff on non-crits. The rest of the damage comes indirectly, through fire rate, multishot and status chance. • Our Kompressa sits at the top by having nearly half a million raw damage per second. The best candidates for this arcane include weapons that suck at critting and have bad base damage scaling whether due to low damage or low AoE and non-scaling with Gun CO. Oh, and also innate Corrosive or Viral damage. Kompressa and a few other weapons are unique in this case, since Cascadia Empowered is only worth it against armored factions. Unarmored dies to anything, so a traditional raw damage build works much better. But armored enemies are a problem. This lets us mod corrosive, viral and heat all on the same build to temporarily reduce armor by 90%, while boosting our arcane damage by 4.25x through status proc effects. • Catabolyst is shown as a solid alternative with insanely high damage, but still weaker than Kompressa due to Kompressa's innate 4 multishot making up for it not being a beam. Hema was another good candidate, but I did not have enough time to test properly. Still, we have turned a dedicated primer into a DPS meme, and it works amazing to boot! Have you seen what it can do with Zephyr? It two taps CHG's and Exo Gokstads. And also lags your game and FPS while doing so.
