The car is a 1973 Toyota celica that I purchased for $150 The first time I saw one of these was in a junk yard looking for parts for a different car I was working on. There was not much left of that car at the wrecker but enough of it there to know I liked what I saw. So over the next ten years I looked locally to find one of these classic celicas. I ended up with a pair of Celica's, one came from 20 minutes away in the next town. I started to work on the first car when a friend sent me a kijiji link for this car In the video I intended to use it for parts assuming it would be in worse shape than my first one. I was surprised to see it was more solid than my current project. So it became the car that I would work on. It had no title as it came from an estate sale of a hoarder. The previous owner who accuired the estate property was awesome and got me a title made up for the car. Follow along with this part one video which consists of metal fabrication and parts sourcing and the first drive/start. I will up date the project as more stuff happens on it.
