You can load the cans or the bin in the back. The grinding gears of the compactor are really loud but there's a replacement part available (for $25--saving for that). The Bruder spare parts site is here: http://bruderservice.com/. Most parts are very low-cost and delivery is speedy. Part of the fun of Bruder Trucks is fixing them up (or so I tell myself). • Update: If you add a drop or two of non-edible oil to an almost microscopic hole on the side of the loader, it lubricates the gears so they don't grind like this.
