In this video I'll be showing you how you can control the contrast and the back light brightness of a 1602 LCD display with just the Arduino. • The contrast is typically adjusted with a variable resistor but since the project I'm planning this for will be enclosed, I wanted to have it adjustable via the menu. • This is a neat little trick and it is very easy to be accomplished. • Subscribe to my channel: • / tastethecode • Schematic of the filter: • https://easyeda.com/bkolicoski/Low-pa... • Tinkercad simulation: • https://www.tinkercad.com/things/65FR... • Instructable for the project: • https://www.instructables.com/id/1602... • Code used in the example: • https://github.com/bkolicoski/1602-lc... • Materials and parts: • Arduino Nano • https://www.banggood.com/ATmega328P-N... • Arduino UNO R3 • https://www.banggood.com/UNO-R3-ATmeg... • Jumper Wires • https://www.banggood.com/140pcs-U-Sha... • Breadboard Kit • https://www.banggood.com/MB-102-MB102... • • ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ • Music: Sometime by baoj / baoj • Music provided by Free Music for Vlogs • (Free Music for Vlogs) baoj - Sometime
