How to use a grout rake

Regrouting a bathroom or kitchen is done, by many people, simply by applying new grout on top of the old grout. This does not work very well as there is no real key for the new grout and it simply washes off. Raking out the old grout is the only way to do this job properly and using a grout rake is not a difficult job. Follow the instructionson the video and move the grout rake from left to right to ensure you take out all of the grout in the joint. Once this is done to a minimum of 3mm you are free to regrout the tile joints.
