A magnetic levitation train or “a train that flies” is a train that requires no wheels. There is usually a gap between the train and the track on which the train is running. The trains move due to the powerful electromagnetic force. The magnets repel the train, lifting it above the guideway and pushing and pulling it forward. • The magnets have the ability to control the steadiness and speed of the train. There are advantages and disadvantages of magnetic levitation trains which are discussed in this video. • If you liked this video and would like us to make a video on any science topic, please let us know in the comments.
