The 65th Tibetan uprising anniversary is celebratet on March 10th each year by Tibetans in exile rallying for freedom in Tibet and end of Chinese occupation in Tibet. • For the Past week all Tibetans across the world were rallying for Free Tibet and against forced relocation of Tibetans. On February 23rd China arrested 1000+ protesters inside occupied Tibet opposing destrucion of Buddhist monasteries and Tibetan villages due to Chinese construction of a dam. • Derge is considered a centre for Tibetan culture and history and is home to monasteries with murals dating back to 13th century.
