So, the first thing you • need to know is you have to have the • proper experience. Now in the state of • California, the state requires four years • of experience. That's in things like • planning and estimating rough wiring • finished wiring and trim start-up • troubleshooting and maintenance things • like that. So as long as you have that, • you're ready to go and you're ready to • rock. The second thing is you need to get • prepared to pass the two state exams. The third thing is is • you have to fill out that application. • Now that application, according to many • contractors, is quite daunting.
