We are nearly finished with the restoration of Bell Howell model 2709 serial #606. This camera dates to 1923 when it was originally purchased by the Fox Films Studios. The 2709 was a Hollywood staple after its introduction in the second decade of the 20th century, favored by the legendary Charlie Chaplin and Oscar-winning cinematographer James Wong Howe. This camera is unique in that it is packaged with so many original Bell Howell accessories, including the pan and tilt head and the wooden tripod. A real collector's piece!
