The Danxia landform refers to various landscapes found in southeast, southwest and northwest China that consist of a red bed characterized by steep cliffs . Qicai Danxia, or Colorful Danxia Landform, is located in Zhangye City, Gansu Province. The average altitude of the landscape is 1,850 meters.
