I'm currently setting up the wired home network in our house. I have solid Cat 6 cable running up on the addict and then down to 4 different rooms ending in some LK Actassi 250 connectors. • Each solid cable now needs to be connected to my Ubiquity switch so that the rooms can share the internet connection from the Ubiquity router. And to do that I needed to create 4 small ethernet cables to go between the switch and the connectors. • So in this video I show how to crimp a RJ45 on to a Shielded Cat 7 cable (It could also just have been a Cat 6 cable). I show how to arrange the small coloured cables in a T568B configuration. It is actually super easy to do. • 0:00 Intro • 0:54 Talking about the RJ45 Connector • 1:33 Starting assembling the cable • 2:36 How to arrange the cables in a T568B setup • 4:25 Using the crimping tool • 5:10 Using the test tool to test the cable • I'd advice getting a kit or something similar to this, that comes with an ethernet cable tester: • ► RJ45 Crimp tool kit • https://amzn.to/2GB2rb6 • ► My Youtube setup: • I used a phone to film this video: https://amzn.to/2YGQ1Sy • Gimbal: https://amzn.to/2Zq0u6c • Studio lights: https://amzn.to/2YgO4km • Microphone: https://amzn.to/2yBuMHj • ► Follow me on: • Twitter -   / mrgarfitech   • DISCLAIMER: Some of the links in the description may be affiliate links.
