Hadija Namale is the stage name of Jane Frances Kiryangokibi, a Ugandan singer, composer, guitarist and accomplished conga drums player. She started her music career in the mid 1960s, singing some of the sweetest songs that defined the 60s/early 70s era. She sang with Susana Band, Top Ten Jazz Band, and occasionally sang at White Nile Club. Namale has sung with most of the giants of Uganda's 1960s music fraternity - Juma Odundo, Eclas Kawalya, and Fred Masagazi.
