Sri Sankara TV along with Pravritti Foundation launches a new TV serial - 'Periyavaa' based on the teachings of Kanchi Mahaperiyavaa i.e. His Holiness Sri Chandrashekarendra Saraswathi, 68th Sankaracharya of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham. • The grand event which happened in Chennai was graced by eminent dignitaries - Bharathanatyam exponent and guru 'Padma Bhushan' Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam, Violin Vidwan 'Kalaimamani' Kumaresh and Veena Vidushi 'Kalaimamani' Jayanthi Kumaresh, Upanyasam exponent Sri Ganesha Sharma, actor and Kathakalakshepam expert 'Kalaimamani' Revathy Sankaran, Arun Excello Managing Director Mr. P.
