In this video, we'll see how to easily select a specific country in Tor Browser using the exit nodes in the torrc-defaults file. • The first step is to go to the location where you've installed the tor browser; I've installed multiple tor browsers in D drive. Before editing the file, let's open the tor browser and check the IP address. The random IP address location is Switzerland for this time, which will be changed each time we restart the tor browser. • So, Open the Browser folder, Tor browser, Data, and the Tor folder. Double click on the torrc-defaults file, select notepad from the popup box. Now, scroll down to the end of the file. • Add a comma, Press enter and move to the next line. • Write this one line of code, ExitNodes {us} StictNodes 1. StrictNodes 1 force the Tor browser to use the specified exit nodes. • Save the changes and close the torrc-defaults file. • Back to the main folder and open tor browser again. • Check the IP address. The IP address country is the united states, as we specified in the torrc-defaults file, and the region is California.
