The film was produced in 2020 by Bayerischer Rundfunk (Bavarian Broadcasting) for ARD/First German Television Channel (“Das Erste”). This version has English subtitles. • The documentary explores the rise and fall of the German fintech Wirecard from the perspective of those who saw the collapse coming: so-called short sellers like Fahmi Quadir, Fraser Perring or Marc Cohodes who were betting against Wirecard’s share price for years.
