In honor of Halloween 2018, we explore the old Anoka State Hospital Cemetery, better known to some as the Anoka Insane Asylum! Opened in 1900, recently closed in 1999, home to some very bone chilling stories! Who knows what really went on here, but there is no doubting the intense ominous feeling while there. • We were told this 1st hand account regarding Building 10: My building was were the morgue and electroshock therapy was. 2 people I work with have been in the building late and have heard little kids voices when no one was in the building. Also they have heard what they said was the sound of a gurney being rolled down the hallway. In building 3 people have seen a women dressed in red staring out the window. I haven’t been in the building late so I haven’t heard that stuff yet.
