The majority of high-end wheels these days use cartridge bearings, replacing them correctly is important to ensure your bearings last, and you wheels run as efficiently as possible. A bench vice is also very useful for replacing your hub bearings, but isn't necessarily essential if you don't have one in your home workshop. • Another really important thing to remember is to lay out all the parts of your hub in the order that you removed them. That way you'll know which order to put them back in when you get to that point.
