After several years my Kholer shower faucet suddenly stopped mixing the hot and cold water, thus I decided to learn and also show how to replace both parts: 1) Cartridge for an Kohler shower Mixer, part # GP500520 and 2) Pressure Balancing, part # GP77759. Both are also identified as a bundle Kit # GP76851 . The old mixer cartridge was using a discontinued part number # 73716-AA , but it was substituted with part # GP500520 without any problem.
