PIDPOD: self-balancing Internet of Things platform based on the Texas Instruments CC3200 with a custom booster-pack. The PID controller coefficients of the platform can be set via Wi-Fi as the CC3200 has it on-board. • Developed in less than 20 days by Marco Pagnamenta, Karl Kangur and Jean-Luc Liardon, members of Robopoly committee and former students of EPFL. • This was made possible thanks to the EPFL robotics club and Manuel Leitos and André Badertscher from the EPFL ACI electrical workshop who helped in manufacturing and soldering the custom PCB. • All the documentation, code, files and electronics details are on Robopoly GitHub: https://github.com/Robopoly/PIDPOD
