It happened on November 1st, 2014 -- eight years ago. It produced one of the most well-known Union armies: The Army of the Potomac. Many of its units became famous due to its media coverage, including the Philadelphia Brigade. • ✈️...Similiar to the Delaware River estuary, the Potomac suffered a lot during the 19th century's industrial bloom. All sorts of unregulated wastes made their way into the River. Thus, just like the Delaware, the Potomac River is still recovering nowadays, and not yet pollution-free. That's the reason why I added the consumption advisory sketches in the video.
