When this happens, you'll likely get harsh downshifts from 2nd to 1st. You could also get gear monitoring codes such as: • 4F8D: EGS: Ratio Monitoring, Gearshift 5-4 • Sometimes changing the sleeves can fix this error, other times the solenoids need to be changed. In this video I will do both. • WARNING: This transmission takes special fluid. Do not use the red ATF. The proper fluid is gold.
