The 1992 NATL season was a below-average season recording 10 systems, 7 TSs, 4 HUs, 1 MH and 1 C5 storm. This system the main star was Andrew which devastated South FL and LA after making landfall as a C5 storm. This season is the perfect example of the phrase: • It Only Takes One • The season started with SS One very early on April and dissipated on the open sea. In Late June, TD One formed and affected FL causing heavy rainfall to FL. In Late July, TD Two formed in open sea and dissipated rapidly. In Mid August, Andrew formed it become the strongest of the season and caused devastation across South FL and the Gulf Coast. Activity increased in Late September when Bonnie, Charley, Danielle, Seven and Earl formed. Bonnie and Charley became high-end C2 HUs in the open sea affecting the Azores. Danielle become a moderate TS and affected the East Coast causing minimal damages. TD Seven formed in MDR and stayed active until October as a strong depression. Finally the last storm of September Earl, it became a moderate but disorganized TS out the sea persisting until Early October. On Late October the last storm of the season, Frances formed, it peaked as a strong C1 HU out the sea and later affected the Iberian Peninsula as a extratropical storm. • -------- • Credits: • Music: • Into the Sky by Jeremy Blake • Decade (2020) by @astradiayt
