In this video you will learn how to read your engine, speedo, abs error codes whenever you need to, without any diagnostic equipment on Harley Davidson XG750 Street Rod... also applies to the Street model. • 1. With ignition OFF press and hold odometer button and put ignition ON; • 2. Speedo will go into test mode and then will display DIAG message on screen; • 3. Press the odometer button to scroll through all systems available (ECM, SPEEDO, and ABS in our case); • 4. After each module name, it is displayed either Y(es) or N(o) letter which tells us if there are any fault codes stored; • 5. In order to read stored codes on any unit, select your unit and press and hold the odometer switch until it will display the first error. • 6. Use the odometer button to scroll through the errors. • 7. When you have scrolled through all the errors the END message it will be displayed indicating that this where all the errors stored. • 8. After writing down the errors, if you want to see if the errors are current you have to erase all the errors and restart your bike. • 9. To erase the errors, while you are on the list of errors, press and hold the odometer button until the CLEAR message will be displayed on the screen. If you will briefly press the odometer button it will confirm that you want to erase all errors and they will be deleted. • 10. Restart your bike, if the light is OFF, go for a road test and then rescan all the systems. • Thanks for watching and subscribe for more videos.
