Ein Feuerwerk der Kulturen • In der unvergesslichen Show des Basel Tattoo 2024 entführen über 1.000 Mitwirkende aus fünf Kontinenten das Publikum auf eine Reise rund um die Welt, von Amerika bis nach Australien. Die Zuschauer erleben ein beeindruckendes Feuerwerk der Kulturen, das auch die heimische Schweizer Volkskultur umfasst. • Freuen Sie sich auf rund 120 Minuten Unterhaltung mit traditionellen Dudelsackklängen, exotischen Outfits und präzisen musikalischen Darbietungen, moderiert von Philippe Gerber. Das Basel Tattoo 2024 bietet ein unvergleichliches Programm, das in jeder Hinsicht begeistert und die Zuschauer auf eine weltumspannende Reise mitnimmt – von Amerika über Europa, den Nahen Osten und Asien bis nach Australien. • Die militärischen Musikformationen und zivilen Teilnehmer präsentieren die gesamte Bandbreite musikalischer Vielfalt. Welthits von AC/DC, ABBA oder Tina Turner begeistern das Publikum ebenso wie klassische Stücke und traditionelle Märsche. Das Zusammenspiel aus Musik, präzisen Choreografien sowie farbenfrohen Kostümen und Uniformen schafft eine einzigartige Atmosphäre im Hof der historischen Kaserne in Basel. • Zu den Publikumslieblingen gehören der One Voice Children’s Choir, die US Army Field Band, die Swiss Armed Forces Brass Band und die OzScot International Highland Dancers. Stark vertreten ist auch der lebendige Auftritt der Australian Army Band sowie die humorvollen Einlagen des Big Bike Orchestra aus Polen. • Für Gänsehaut-Momente sorgen die 200 Dudelsackspieler und Trommler der Massed Pipes and Drums. Das große Finale vereint alle Mitwirkenden zu einem beeindruckenden Schlussbouquet. Nach dem berührenden Solo des Lone Piper, hoch oben auf dem Kasernenturm, verabschieden sich die 1.000 Mitwirkenden unter großem Beifall mit dem Song Z’Basel am mym Rhy. • Moderator Philippe Gerber führt hinter den Kulissen Interviews mit Mitwirkenden, wie Cody Harris, dem Didgeridoo-Spieler der Australian Army Band, Naomi Frost, der Sängerin des One Voice Children’s Choir, oder Cheryl Roach, der Choreografin der Highland Dancers. The Basel Tattoo 2024 offers an incomparable program that captivates on every level, taking the audience on a global journey from America through Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, all the way to Australia. • The military music formations and civilian participants showcase the full spectrum of musical diversity. Global hits from AC/DC, ABBA, and Tina Turner will excite the audience, alongside classical pieces and traditional marches. The combination of music, precise choreography, and colorful costumes and uniforms creates a unique atmosphere in the courtyard of Basel’s historic barracks. • Audience favorites include the One Voice Children’s Choir, the US Army Field Band, the Swiss Armed Forces Brass Band, and the OzScot International Highland Dancers.
