The dawn chorus in the UK, celebrating International Dawn Chorus Day. The dawn chorus can be heard in the UK between March and July. Birds begin singing and calling around an hour before sunrise and continue into the morning. Different species join the dawn chorus at different times with Robins and Blackbirds among the earliest birds to start singing. • The birds featured in the video are: • 0:13 Eurasian Blue Tit • 0:30 Eurasian Wren • 0:47 Great Tit • 1:04 European Robin • 1:16 Greylag Goose • 1:33 Common Wood Pigeon • 1:49 Grey Heron • 2:00 Mute Swan • 2:06 Great Crested Grebe • 2:28 European Goldfinch • 2:49 Common Chaffinch • 3:01 Eurasian Blackcap • 3:23 Mallard • 3:29 Dunnock • 3:43 Great White Egret • 3:55 Common Chiffchaff • 4:14 Song Thrush • 4:35 Common Blackbird • The landscapes were filmed at the RSPB's Ham Wall Nature Reserve on the Somerset Levels.
