Hello, hello, hello and it's time for a pomodoro session! Because even if you don't have anything you need to study, I'm sure you have something you need to work on, or some way you need to be productive, and what better way than with me as your study/accountability buddy and a set amount of work/study time with breaks! Today's video will be a study/productivity session following the pomodoro technique with four 25-minute focused work sessions and three 5-minute breaks in between. And not to worry, I will keep the time for you (and only get us both distracted by smiling and making faces at you every once in a while - but please do try and stay focused)! Sounds in this video will include tippy-taps on my keyboard, the annoying hum of my computer's fan trying too hard, and some pleasant background rain sounds that will hopefully relax and soothe whether you're using this video for study/productivity purposes or to fall asleep to! Too much? ...) ...anyway... • I got us a tomato shaped kitchen timer for the aesthetic and because I just really like to be on theme and I'm just so excited that I'll nearly drop it before finally getting started with our first 25-minute pomodoro session. except oh yea I did forget to mention that I'm really not good at studying or focusing so I'm gonna be looking around, smiling and making faces at you, not paying attention to my work but I'm just excited you're hanging here with me, don't let it distract you :) • When we break for our first 5-minute rest I'll accidentally bore you with a more in-depth background and description of the Pomodoro Technique read directly from Wikipedia and I'll blabber on about why I enjoy these so much and also explain how I first discovered this through Sarah Lavender's ASMR channel as she has done a few ASMR Pomodoro and study with me style videos that I just love love love but at this point I've gone far over our 5-minute time limit so unfortunately I had to cut that part about Sarah Lavender out but I do love and appreciate her for making pomodoro style videos and introducing me to this technique, I'll link her pomodoro playlist here:    • Pomodoros | Sarah Lavender ASMR   !! • Time to get our second pomodoro session started, I'll try to contain my smiles and goofiness to myself this time, but not really. • Then, during our second break, I'll tap on my stress ball and remind you to stretch your legs and drink some water - something I probably should've reminded you during our first break, sorry! Also, just curious what kind of stress ball you have with you? What shape and squishiness level is it? Let me know!! I'll also be sure to check your eyes seeing how we're halfway through and they're probably getting tired. • Onto our third pomodoro session and I promise to be better about not looking at you/getting distracted this time!
