Set aside. • COOKIE DOUGH • 00:37 Combine melted, cooled butter and sugars in a large bowl and stir well. Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract and stir again to combine. Set aside. • 01:11 In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt. • 01:28 Add dry ingredients to wet and stir until completely combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Set aside and prepare your Brownie batter. • BROWNIE BATTER • 01:40 Combine butter pieces and 1/2 cup chocolate chips in a large heat-proof bowl. Transfer to microwave and heat in 20-second intervals, stirring very well in between until chocolate and butter are completely melted and mixture is smooth. • 02:17 Add cocoa powder and stir well. • 02:23 Stir in sugars. • 02:32 Add eggs, egg yolk, vanilla extract, and salt and stir to combine. • 02:55 Add flour and stir until well mixed.
