That being said, I set this curling iron on 15 after reading the reviews about it getting too hot . I then tested it, it was still too hot. I put it down to 13 and that's where I felt it was just right. It took me about 40 minutes to curl my hair which I feel is fair. It turned out great and the curling iron feels well made.
