The M-4 tank and M-10 tank destroyers are shown as an example. 2700 were built with 300 being produced per month when production was suspended in 1943, and 25,000 items were left surplus as a result. 17000 tons of steel were left surplus and had to be sold at an average price of $48 per ton. • Motion picture films don't last forever; many have already been lost or destroyed.
