It can be used to roll a log from one place to another or just flipping it over to finish a cut with a chainsaw when cutting firewood. One of my most enjoyable things to do is making my own tools. Of course you can go and buy this tool at a farm store, but consider making one. You will not only end up with a unique tool that YOU made, you will gain many skills along the way. In this project I show you start to finish each step I take in making this great tool. Some of the steps include cutting, grinding, drilling and forging metal, setting up a makeshift wheel barrow forge and shaping a wood handle on a shaving horse with a draw knife.
