Amidst all the chaos, I find moments of musical calm even more poignant - a chance to breathe, reflect, and reset. I came across June Collin's 'The Quiet heart' last year on Tenebrae's fantastic album, and it quickly became absorbed into our Christmas repertoire. I think it's such a valuable reminder that, at its heart, the Christmas story isn't one of grand celebrations and indulgence, but of something much more intimate and personal.
