In this video we showcase the Xeryon XLA-1 piezoelectric micro linear actuator. • Speed precision: This is the fastest ultrasonic piezo linear actuator in the world! This mini linear actuator is capable of reaching speeds of more than 500 mm/s in a closed-loop control mode. In the video above, the positioning is done with a precision of 1.25 µm. The XLA-1 is also available with a 312 nm or a 78 nm position encoder but also is available without a position encoder. • Controller: The XLA-1 with integrated position encoder uses an external controller (the XDA-controller). The version without a position encoder comes with an integrated controller. • Sound: Please turn your PC volume to the maximum to hear how silent this piezo linear actuator really is.
