Add the boiling water and stir until all of the gelatin dissolves. Add the food coloring and set aside to cool to room temperature. While the gelatin is cooling stretch out the straws and pack them bendy side down into a wide-mouth mason jar (a milk carton works too.) Add the cream to the cooled gelatin, stir well. Pour the gelatin mixture into a container with a spout. Slowly pour the gelatin mixture into the straws. Refrigerate at least 8 hours. Remove the straws from the mason jar. You may have to run the jar under some warm water to help loosen the straws. Wipe the straws clean of excess gelatin. Pinch the straws with your fingers or use a rolling pin to squeeze the worms out. Store the worms in an airtight container the refrigerator for a few days. Makes 1-2 cups of worms. • Emmy Eats Burma http://bit.ly/1LqsbQ3 • Popin' Cookin' Ramen 2 http://bit.ly/1Lzh9pE • Scary Bones music courtesy of audionetwork.com, and royalty-free Sprightly from iMovie.
