In 2016 Dovetail released Working with Families and Significant Others . A guide to help workers include a family responsive practice approach to alcohol and other drug work with young people. ( • GENOGRAMS: When a picture is worth a ... ) • In this video Associate Professor Phil Crane shows workers how to use a time line approach to mapping young people’s past, present and future family and significant other relationships. In the time line approach the young person is represented by the point in the middle of a circle and indicates their proximity to family members within the circle at different points in time.
