Well, I'm here to show you how, and the best part is, it's uncensored and licensed for commercial use. You don't need a powerful GPU, but you do need at least 16GB of RAM for it to run smoothly. • First, head to this website to download gpt4all. It works on Windows, OSX, and Ubuntu. I'll be using the Windows version for this tutorial. During installation, you can choose the default location or select a different one. Personally, I prefer installing it on my D:\\Programs\\gpt4all. • Once the installation is done, open gpt4all. If it asks for anonymous statistics, just say no. You'll then be taken to the model download page. Note: I have 16GB of RAM, so I only use models that require 8GB RAM to avoid lagging issues. • Before downloading, create a new folder to store your models. I'll name mine gptmodels . Then, change the download path to this folder. Alternatively, you can use the default location, but I like to keep my files organized. • I've chosen the Mistral Instruct model for its uncensored nature and commercial usability. You can download as many models as you like from the list. If a model isn't recommended for your hardware, you'll see a warning in red. • To use the model, simply select it from the dropdown list and ask any question you like. It should answer without any restrictions. Plus, you can use it offline too, which is pretty neat! • One downside: in the current version, the model doesn't load automatically, so you'll have to do it manually each time. Hopefully, this will be fixed in future updates. • If you found this video helpful, consider subscribing to my channel or donating to me on ko-fi. • Chapters • 0:00 - Intro • 0:22 - Download and Install gpt4all • 1:00 - Download model • 1:40 - gpt4all Demo • 1:52 - Downside
